Sierra is a licensed mental health counselor in MA, specializing in eating disorders with a focus on Binge Eating Disorder, body image, anxiety, life changes, relationships & intimacy, as well as self-esteem work and trauma. She works with her client's interdisciplinary team such as prescribers, medical doctors, and dietitians for comprehensive care. Sierra is committed to the principles of Health At Every Size (HAES) and believes that every body is worthy of respect and care, regardless of its shape or size. She utilizes concepts from intuitive eating and her background in dance to help her clients develop a better relationship with their bodies, food, and movement. She works collaboratively with them to achieve their goals.

Sierra is dedicated to building strong, positive relationships with her clients, and believes that building rapport is key to supporting them in their journey towards healing. She has a warm and empathetic approach that puts her clients at ease, and is skilled at communicating with them in a way that fosters trust and understanding. Sierra believes that therapy is a collaborative process, and is committed to providing exceptional care and support to her clients as they work towards their goals.

Sierra has completed EMDR Basic Training through Center For Excellence in EMDR. She continues to pursue EMDR consultation.

In her free time, she enjoys watching true crime documentaries, reading, yoga, exploring a new nature trail, and cuddling with her pets, Chandler and Mabel.

Sierra has experience working in PHP and IOP levels of care with adults and adolescents in eating disorder treatment. More specifically, she provided individual sessions, family sessions, treatment planning, referrals, collateral calls, as needed. Additionally, Sierra has worked in college counseling programs to provide individual therapy, case management, and intake assessments to students deal with various mental health issues within a short term model.

Sierra obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Wheaton College. She then pursued her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Emphasis in Health and Behavioral Medicine at William James College.

She has completed EMDR Basic Training through the Center of Excellence in EMDR Therapy and training under Deany Laliotis as Sierra has a passion for helping those heal from trauma and stuck points using a somatic and relational approach. She continues to seek EMDR consultation as she pursues certification.
